Night of the Demons (1988)
Member Rating:
A group of teens plan a Halloween party at an abandoned funeral parlor in this well-crafted horror film. The home is rumored to be haunted after the owner slaughtered his family and killed himself years before. The teens plan on scaring their classmates, unaware that demons from hell are released for a night of terror for bad behavior. One by one, the teens fall victim to the evil that dwells within the parlor. The audience is left guessing who, if anyone, will be alive the following morning. This fright feature is rife with references to other teen slasher flicks. ~ Dan Pavlides, Rovi

The late 80's brought us Zombies, Slashers and Demons. This film is probably one of the best of its kind (spawned 2 other sequels). There is one scene that will be long remembered! Enjoy!

A fun, cheesy, creepy B movie that would satisfy any horror fan out there. Its not a classic horror movie by any means, but if you're into the whole 80's campy-horror, B movie genre, then you're gonna love this one. One more recommendation: see it at night.

The only thing good about this movie is the make-up. They tried too hard to scare you in one scene and then try too hard to have a dramatic moment in the next that was so unawarably campy that it was sickening. Boy I wish I was a young teen and nieve again living in the 1980's when T and A was all I wanted from my movies.

I heard a lot of good things about this movie but to me it wasn't that good. The acting was bad, it took 45 minutes before any type of action to occur. Maybe if I was 13 and it was 1988 I may have enjoyed it more.

Take the worst kids at camp/haunted house movie you've seen, and only one actress and several of your neighborhood kids and film a movie...you get the idea.
