A reclusive social misfit broadcasting images of strangers over the internet comes into contact with a gothic Lolita who is eager to join his voyeuristic enterprise in director Yutaka Tsuchiya's digital exploration of the Japanese video surveillance subculture. His video camera obsessively trained on the unsuspecting masses that crowd the Tokyo streets, Haegawa secretly runs a website that brings the images of the masses to the masses. Jaded goth girl Moe knows well of Haegawa's website, and when the reluctant shutterbug agrees to let her take a closer look at his clandestine operation, the result is a chilling decent into a world where the lens sees all, and reality is subjective. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi
Wow.....horrible film..bad acting....bad directing.....bad story......if the chicks were hot it would've been watchable...but they are not.
Don't bother with this one people....let me save you 2 hrs of your life.
This was an absolute waste of time. I only saw this because I have lived in Japan for many years and this so called sub-culture comprises a very, very, very small percentage of the population and essentially is not representative of the real world in Japan. The kids depicted on this video are depraved and socially mal-adjusted and this video needs to go directly into the trash bin for the garbage that it is. Rent something else; not this!
