When Steven's wife, Carol (Kate Beckinsale), gets pregnant, she worries about the baby being born a dwarf. She also ends up falling for Rolfe, much to her surprise. Also starring Peter Dinklage and Patricia Arquette. After appearing at film festivals in Europe, Tiptoes made its U.S. premiere at Sundance Film Festival in 2004. ~ Andrea LeVasseur, Rovi

I rented this movie for our traditional Crappy Movie Night. This movie is terrible, but hilarious. The scenes with Gary Olman sitting on a couch are so hard to take seriously. All I could think the entire time was "He's literally in the couch so his fake little legs could dangle off the edge." Matthew McConaughey's character basically goes from defending dwarves to hating them in the span of 3 minutes. There were so many pointless scenes and there was a lot of strange dialogue. Also, as a movie that tries to make a point for little people advancing in society, it's a strange choice to have a regular sized Gary Oldman portray a dwarf. The movie misses it's own point.

This movie had the potential to be good, but the plot line was slow and ridiculous.

It was so-so. The big stars, main actors, were too predictable. But Arquette and Dinklage steal scene after scene, these are the two most interesting characters in the movie. It's an okay film, just not great.

A good bad movie, some of the parts are really wierd yet funny and for some reason Peter Dinklage (great name for a dwarf) has a really bad French acent and I have no idea why he ask for a cerpe in the hotel room. If you like bad movies you'll love this one.

Very good, but very depressing. Matthew McConaughey character was not up to the task of responsibility for your actions and life. Not a comedy.

Could not finish watching this poor excuse for a movie. Plot was trite, characters overdrawn, dialogue grievously stilted. UGH.
