Before watching this, I was unfamiliar with John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers. This DVD concert is one of the best I've seen. Instrumentally, there wasn't a single weak link. John Mayall is multi-talented, playing keyboards, blues harp, and some kind of guitar I've never seen before. Former Bluesbreakers members Mick Taylor and Eric Clapton played several songs with the band. Sadly, the only weakness I saw in the concert was Mayall's vocals, but unfortunately a 70-year-old can't have the voice of a 30-year-old. Chris Barber also joined the band for several songs, playing trombone. I never knew a trombone could sound bluesy! If you like the blues, you'll like this concert. (I rarely give 4.5 or 5 stars.)
