Screenwriter John Hamburg directs his second film (since his 1998 debut Safe Men) with the romantic comedy Along Came Polly. Ben Stiller plays Reuben Feffer, a professional risk assessor who never takes chances in any aspect of his life. When his new bride Lisa (Debra Messing) leaves him for a European scuba instructor named Claude (Hank Azaria), he finally decides to a risk of his own. At a party, he meets free-spirited Polly Prince (Jennifer Aniston), whom he remembers from his seventh-grade Model U.N. Unlike the control-freak Reuben, she's spent her life living on the edge. They reluctantly begin a romance and Polly introduces him to a new world of spicy food and suggestive dances. Along Came Polly also stars Philip Seymour Hoffman as Reuben's washed-up best friend Sandy Lyle and Alec Baldwin as the obnoxious insurance company boss Stan Indursky. ~ Andrea LeVasseur, Rovi

Good movie for the lighthearted. It's funny and moments of heartwarming without being too deep. Ben Stiller plays a great character and i found it humorous and enjoyable.

This was a bad version of "Something About Mary" Jenn (that's what I call her) is gorgeous as always. Unfortunately she's plays a poor Rachel Green poorly, even though she is Rachel Green!! she still gets five stars... Benn Stiller is Ben Stiller.. again... no stars for him... Phillip Seymour Hoffman's character looks like it was written for Jack Black.. unfortunatley he acts it like he's Jack Black... hated him... minus 5 stars... Debra Messing is irrelevant and Hank Azaria gets 2.5 stars just because...

Somewhat funny but slow moving at times. I couldn't wait to return the movie and get something more worth my time.

I loved this! Apparently a little more than most - but that's okay. Could of lost a few scenes - but for the most part - hilarious. ...sez me. (especially Phillip Seymour Hoffman)

Ugh... not funny. It's nothing like "Meet the parents" or any of the "funny" Stiller movies. Poor writing...

Predictable, as this type love story usually is. Lightly funny. Nice if you have nothing more to watch.

If you like goofy, stupid, sloppy guys, this is the movie for you. If you want them to act, forget it, get a different move. Predictable, like a soap com. I found watching the male actor facial expressions, more fastinating than the movie. He has great facial expressions. He would be greater than that other idiot, the one who played.....Carry?, if he would just let go of himself and act. The 'B', boring and lesbian looking.
