The third entry in Tom Cruise's Mission: Impossible film series involves super Impossible Mission Forces (IMF) agent Ethan Hunt (Cruise) being forced back into the field just when he was planning on marrying his girlfriend, Julia (Michelle Monaghan). The agency asks Hunt to save an operative (Keri Russell) he trained after weapons dealer Owen Davian (Philip Seymour Hoffman) kidnaps her. With the help of his field team -- played by Ving Rhames, Jonathan Rhys-Meyers, and Maggie Q -- Hunt achieves his goal, but becomes involved in a web of double-crosses that leave him wondering if he can trust his superiors (Billy Crudup and Laurence Fishburne). Eventually Davian threatens Julia's life in order to get away with his evil plan. Simon Pegg appears as an IMF tech expert. ~ Perry Seibert, Rovi

Enjoyable very action packed movie. Better than Mission Impossible 1. Phillip Seymour Hoffman did what he does best, as an evil villian. Makes you wonder why Hunt keeps going back to an organization, that spends much of it's time making him the bad guy.

This was the most enjoyable of the three. If you only have time for 1 watch this one. The action seen were compelling and being the most recent the technology was current.

These stars go to Philip Seymour Hoffman because he stole the show in every scene he was in and made one of the most cut throat villains I have ever seen in a spy movie. I wanted to give more stars but in the end the studio had to hold his character back from being too vicious & realistic to keep the PG13 rating, which made the movie a bit too predictable.

An action packed, fun, and entertaining action sequel by "Star Trek" director J.J Abrams. While this film is not as intelligent as the first, it is just as tense and entertaining. Out of the three films I think this was Cruises' best performance. Philip Seymour Hoffman was just awesome as the bad guy. This flick takes the approach of taking you inside the personal life of Ethan Hunt and showing you he is not James Bond but a regular man. Yea, a regular man that is more resourceful then Macgyver and more invincible then Arnold Schwarzenegger in "Commando". The action kept coming and the twists were pretty decent (even thought I had it all pretty much figured out before the end). Overall it's a perfect summer type popcorn flick, with a great cast, great action sequences, and really cool technological gadgets that would a certain "007" jealous. 8/10

Action was great, but unreal enough to watch without to much drama. Good story line.

Action seens were fantastic as well as the movie flow. Very fast. The plot does get a little confused and I need to watch it again to pick up on what I might have missed. Still not sure who the bad guy was, sort of. Good movie though.

The Bluray I was sent in the mail was in such bad shape I almost did not put it in my 500.00 BD player but my wife insisted.Hey I was told Bluray disk were unscratchable although these looked deliberate because I own some and they are very durable.Anyway we missed approx. .30 minutes of the movie and was able to see the end so in my opinion it was awful, most especially a Bluray with no H.D. Audio. All aside the movie was probably better than I scored. Im just mad at the condition of the movie and they actually thought this thing would play.SHAME ON WHOEVER DID THIS TO A VERY EXSPENSIVE BLURAY DISK!!!!!!!!

You seriously have to be a huge fan of Tom Cruise, HIs massive Teeth, and overacting to be a fan of this. Tom Cruise, as usual, plays himself...the sexy, never backed in a corner bad boy who can get out of anything while smiling like a retard tied to a jungle gym. He is joined by Some actors...as usual, who back him up and all his genius plans and wow, he wins! UGH, Hollywood churns out yet another predictable schlock film with the same cookie cutter story. They should have done a real hip story about a scientologist who holds a young girl hostage while trying to convince the free world he is not gay! Id pay to see that...oh I already have!
