A seasoned host of Tai Chi videos, Dr. Paul Lam is your instructor for Tai Chi for Beginners. This slow-paced workout is designed for the novice to gain an understanding of the essential elements of Tai Chi. Beginning with a brief warm-up, the workout consists of stretches, Qigong excercises, foundation movements, and a cool down. With gentle movements and an easy tempo, these excercises promote good health while providing an introduction to Tai Chi principles. ~ Andrea LeVasseur, Rovi
I really didn't like this video because Dr. Paul Lam is hard to understand at times. Plus he repeats stuff over and over and you can get lost on what he says at times.
I did like the forms thou but he doesn't put the together after learning one and adding the next form.
I also liked how he did show how the form can be used as self defence. Because of this I gave it 1 1/2 stars.
P.S
If you are just begining Tai Chi I would highly recommend Scott Cole's dvds. He takes shows you the basics and different ways of doing stuff.
