Selwyn (1978) Reviews

Selwyn (1978)
Debuting September 5, 1978 on Yorkshire Television, Selwyn was a spin-off of Oh No, It's Selwyn Froggitt, one of British TV's most popular sitcoms ever. Bill Maynard returned as well-meaning bumbler Selwyn Froggitt, who left his familiar Scarsdale environs as the story opened to become entertainment director at Paradise Valley, a Yorkshire holiday camp. Pompous camp manager Mervyn Price (Bernard Gallagher) soon learned to rue the day that Selwyn came into his life. Created by Alan Plater, Selwyn lasted for seven 30-minute episodes, the last of which aired on October 17, 1978. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi
