Luther the Geek (1990)
Member Rating:
As a child, Luther Watts (Edward Terry) was deeply affected by seeing a circus geek (someone who bites the heads off live chickens in a circus sideshow). Finally paroled after serving 20 years in prison, he terrorizes the residents of his hometown by making chicken noises, crowing like a rooster and attacking people. He winds up at a farm run by a woman and her daughter, where he takes them captive and then starts killing off her neighbors. The mother realizes she and her daughter must escape before he kills them, too. ~ Brian Gusse, Rovi

Right off the bat, I love Horror movies, they are by far my favorite genre of movie. That being said this movie was a little much even for me. I was sold on the killer being a retard, and hell bent on biting everyone he comes in contact with. However, the reactions of the family at the house, and the reactions from the cops were so way far off base that it just ruined the movie for me. I mean I caught myself several times in thiis movie stopping and sayin...this is complete BS, ANYONE placed in that situation would have done better than the main characters. It wasnt even slightly believable how helpless they were. I mean the main enemy is a retarded guy who cant even talk, just cluck like a chicken. Meh, its still good for a laugh I guess.

This movie was to horrible for even me and I collect Troma movies. It was just stupid as hell. Yes the killer was funny but the rest of the characters and the overly bad writing will make you want to pluck your eyes out. It just wasn't fun.
