Very few professional wrestlers have ever been able to match the popularity and charisma of "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan, and practically no one has had a longer career as a star attraction in the ring. WWE: Hollywood Hulk Hogan -- Hulk Still Rules offers an up-close look at Hogan's phenomenal career in wrestling, from his professional debut in 1979 to his stunning comeback in 2001, with stops at many memorable moments in between. ~ Mark Deming, Rovi
Hulk Still Rules is a pretty good DVD package. Put together to capitalize on Hogan's 2001 return to the WWE. The interviews are informative and the matches are fun to watch. Alot of career accomplishments are glazed over in favor of hitting the high points and big media spectacles. It's amazing how Hulk seems to transcend time and age to still be one of the biggest draws in WWE history. He is one of the few wrestlers that are household names and are actually bigger than the WWE and sports entertainment. His charisma and signature moves have carried him along way even in his latter years when injuries plagued him. This is pretty much a feel good piece; nothing is really covered from the aspect of his steroid scandal back in the 80's/90's. Certainly nothing is covered about his enormous ego and politicking that kept him on a revolving door in and out of the WWE for a very long time.
