Leon Lai Plays OK Lai a lying swindler type guy. Cecilia Cheung plays Wonderful, a sweet girl who breaks up with her boyfriend after he cheats on her. She's convinced all men are liars when she runs into OK by chance once, then twice, then three times. A buddist monk tells OK he will meet the girl his is destined for and that he must not lie, but events confuse things for him and he doesn't point out the truth to Wonderful. It's a sweet story of misunderstandings and mix ups with fun characters and the two main stars are both adorable! The making of the movie wasn't subtitled. :(

It's a low budget entertaining movie. Though a bit cheesy, it's still worth the rental. Cecilia Cheung sings the soundtrack song and is played briefly during the movie towards the end.

This is a low budget, Hong Kong, formulaic "guy must stop telling lies to get his girlfriend back" story. While the movie is placed in the romance genre, the weak script produces little believable romance and makes the whole movie forgettable. If you've seen other movies directed by Wong Jing, you'll find that this movie unfortunately has the same level of sophomoric acting, directing and writing. The best thing about the movie is that you get to see Cecilia Cheung smack the mud out of some of the other characters. The subtitles suffered from a poor translation, poor grammar and spelling errors. Despite defaulting to Dolby Digital 5.1, the sound came across as stereo. As for extras, there's a trailer for the movie that is not subtitled in English, a "Stars' Files" option containing filmographies for two of the actors and the director, a "Making Of" featurette (8:04 min) that is not subtitled in English and trailers for three other movies. Not recommended.
