It is a documentary (interviews with the public in different regoins of Italy) and it is in Italian. It's black and white and so on a few occasions the white subtitles could not be read. It was interesting to see that Pasolini confronted such "taboo" issues so long ago. He draws no grand conclusions from his work, so that's up to you. There's also a little special feature on his life. If you're interested in Pasolini or social science, you will find it interesting.
