Losin' It (1982)

There is hardly any variation on the stereotyped teens-and-sex movie in this story about four high school seniors who travel to Mexico to find a brothel and have something to brag about when they get back home. Among the four is the sensitive Woody (Tom Cruise) who is not sure he wants this trip, the nerd Wendell (John P. Navin, Jr.), the jock Spider (John Stockwell), and the big-talker Dave (Jackie Earle Haley). As the four set off on their adventure, they give a ride to Kathy (Shelley Long), a woman who is a bit ditsy, but decent, going to Mexico to get a divorce from her husband. Once south of the border the quintet meet up with a wide range of clichéd Mexican types and work out their individual experiences in the manner to which teen movies are accustomed. ~ Eleanor Mannikka, Rovi

Another 80s teen sex comedy. This one stars a young Tom Cruise who plays the nice guy, while his buddies are the raving lunatic horn-dog, the rebel without a cause problem kid, and a pre-pubescent businessman. The group go down to Tijuana, Mexico to get laid, and they pick up Shelly Long's character on the way. The movie is predictable, but it's still funny. The lunatic character steals the show as the lovable loser looking to score some Spanish Fly. Some locals (although stereotyped) also contribute to the comedy.

This is an OK horny teen movie. Fight scenes were really fake but the rest of the movie was worth watching.

Not a very good movie at all, I remembered why I didn't like it way back when.

This movie was okay, but I would definitely say you need to watch it at least once if you enjoyed the 80's.

This was a funny movie. Some parts were a bit predictable but overall I thought it was enjoyable. Jackie Earle Haley gives the best performance of the group as everything he did in the movie seemed to make me laugh the hardest.

Pretty bad. I didn't even bother to finish it.
