This is a great flick. Saw it as a child and never forgot it. Campy, eerie, earthy early 70's feel with a dreamlike appearance. I wish there were more older scary flicks like this one. Easily the creepiest vampire movie ever, almost seems realistic.

Although this is a low budget film, I happen to enjoy that sort of gritiness in a creepy movie. This movie has good atmosphere, and that neat feeling that your watching a home video. It did have it's share of dull moments and lack of storyline. I enjoyed it for the simple fact that nowadays it's hard to find a movie that is so simple yet effective, also not based solely on how much gore and special effects they can pour in two hours. I love finding hidden treasures like Let's Scare Jessica..., hail to 70's and 80's campy, creepy, horror flicks.

This movie did not seem like a PG movie but also is such a great movie! Watch It!!!The Lets Scare Jessica to Death is such a realistic feeling it gave me the creeps but also one really good movie to see....................Great Movie!

I have to say that this movie had ample opportunity to be a great scary flick. For me, though, it just didn't deliver. There were questions left unanswered and I just didn't understand the ending. (As it was.) The Synopisis of the film explains more of what was happening then the movie did. Questions unanswered were, "What was up with the towns"people?" Were they in on the plot, if so, Why? "What was the purpose of trying to scare Jessica to death instead of just drowning her in the lake?" Also lots of accidents can happen on a farm, another way to get rid of her. Maybe I didn't watch the film close enough. I was doing other things while it was playing so maybe I was distracted and missed crucial parts. All in all, it was a creepy movie and I just expected a better conclusion.

The only reason I gave this movie half of a star, was because I got a kick out of Emily being so random! With her "Let's have a seance" line or "Take me for a walk". Either way i found this movie to be tasteless, and pink blood? Over all it's waste of your money and time! P.S Was the lady crazy, or what? (I didn't get the ending)

This "B" movie was HORRIBLE - the acting was PATHETIC ! It was like the director contacted low-budget porn stars for "acting talents" - SHEEESH ! Could anything be worse than this piece of crap ? Sad thing is, it could have been SO MUCH BETTER ! To tell you the truth, I really loved the old house and creepy fog scenes. And maybe this piece of garbage scared people in 1971 - but watching it in 2008, it was an utter JOKE ! The blood was SO FAKE ! And ole' Jessica seemed like she was on bad LSD throughout the entire movie - - the movie had similarities of watching the cult family at WACO, Texas a few years back....and for Heaven's sakes, that one dude sprayed so much pesticides on the trees and vegetation - I'm surprised anything could grow for 100-years after he finished spraying !! SHEEESH !

Ok. whoa. Holy crappppp!!!!!!!!!! this movie is horrible!!!!!!!!! its a very, very old movie, cheaply made, and not scary at allllllllll! there was 1 part in the movie where this guy is "supposed" to be dead and he has like pink blood on him and he's still breathing!!!!!!! people DO NOT WATCH THIS RETARTED MOVIE!!!!!! the worst scary movie evr made!!!!!!!!

I'm always looking for horror movies, old/new, big budget/no budget, cheesy/gory/etc. Being a fan of all horror/scary/whatever... movies, I can tell you this is a waist of your time. Skip this one, you're not missing anything. I can't say one single positive aspect about it.
