A very somber story of 100% hatred of the Indian race! ----Unforgivable----everyone should see this movie, because it is history.

I hope more people watch this excellent film. Ishi, a member of the Yahi tribe in Northern California, was its last survivor. Discovered in the early 1900s by anthropologists from the University of California in San Francisco, Ishi lived out his life in the campus museum. In the movie, he is mainly a research subject to his academic guardians, who could not begin to comprehend all the old traditions and burdens he carried inside. Graham Greene portrays him beautifully, with great dignity and style. See Wikpedia for an interesting writeup about Ishi.
