Successful playwright Al Pacino can't get any work done as long as he is pestered by his wacko wife Tuesday Weld. Making things worse are the couple's obstreperous children, many of them products of her previous marriages. Just as Pacino is completing his latest work, his wife walks out on him. That's the good news: the bad news is that he's saddled with a bunch of snot-nosed kids. Still and all, Pacino finds time to inaugurate an affair with his play's leading lady, played by Dyan Cannon, while attempting to juggle the stresses of opening night with the needs of the demanding, often obnoxious children. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

A amusing fluff piece--light and easy to take. A serious plot presented by a wise-cracking joke-telling cast.

Disappointed that it wasn't the complete movie version. it lacked the full ending. it ends at the news stand. Instead of the bedroom scene with al pacinoe getting caked by the kids after reading the reviews to him. Other than that ifs was quite the trip down memory lane. Loved Igor his one liners were just what the movie needed. Too bad he had a nose job and was never seen again.

This was a very lighthearted and good family movie. Great to get all the members together no matter what age and watch it without any use of foul language, vulgarities or content that needs to be censored. A definite top notch 5 star movie and very funny too.
