A widower finds new love in an unexpected place in this drama. Tulan (Eusebio Poncela) is an aging circus strongman who travels with a threadbare carnival from one tiny Argentine town to another. While Tulan loves his wife, he has no gift for expressing his feelings, and when she commits suicide, only then does he become fully aware of how much she meant to him. As he struggles to get along without her, he finds himself falling for another member of the carnival's entourage, Jenifer (Micky Ruffa), a female impersonator who is saving up to get gender reassignment surgery.
