After squaring off in 1995 with competing movie biographies of frontier lawman Wyatt Earp, actors Kurt Russell and Kevin Costner co-star in this action crime caper as former cronies engaged in a series of double-crosses over some stolen loot. Michael Zane (Russell) and Thomas Murphy (Costner) are the leaders of a gang of ex-convict thieves using an Elvis Presley impersonator convention to pull off a daring heist in a Las Vegas casino. The gang also includes Gus (David Arquette), Hanson (Bokeem Woodbine), and Franklin (Christian Slater). Although they manage to retrieve the money, the crooks turn on each other in bloody fashion and Murphy (who believes he's actually the illegitimate son of Elvis) makes off with the illegal funds. In hot pursuit are the police and Michael, who's encumbered by his girlfriend Cybil (Courtney Cox-Arquette) and her young son Jesse James. Written and directed by music video creator Demian Lichtenstein, 3000 Miles to Graceland also stars Kevin Pollak, Ice-T, and Howie Long. ~ Karl Williams, Rovi

This was an excellent movie, Kevin Costner & Kurt Russell stole the movie. You see a side of Costner that you haven't before and it was sensational.Higly entertaining action flick that shouldn't be missed.

An excellent caper film where the gang (after pulling off a big heist) starts to distrust each other & have different plans on what to do with the loot. Great performances by Kevin Costner, Kurt Russell & Courtney Cox.

I agree with a previous reviewer. This movie was boring and pointless, with non-stop machine gun fire. I didn't even finish it. I have better things to do.

The best things about this movie were the title and the cast. So it didn't occur to me until the next day what exactly made the rest of it so frightfully bad. Sure, there were many little things throughout the movie that were irritating, frustrating and silly, but the primary fault was the overall atmosphere of the film. Viewing this movie was like watching somebody else play a video game (rated "M" for hokey violence). The opening should have been a tip-off; the "world" into which this film takes you is less convincing than Grand Theft Auto or Tomb Raider. So why did so many celebrities sign on for this project? The plot does sound like a pretty good story, when told in broad-strokes summary. My guess is that the contracts were signed before the script was complete, after looking at a rough outline and maybe the first couple of scenes. I just cannot imagine these celebrities willingly agreeing to this film after reading the complete script. Too bad... this one had so much potential.

I didn't have any idea what to expect and was surprised. It's weaker Ocean's 11, but still found it to be entertaining.

This movie was a huge disappointment. It has almost non-stop machine gunfire. Very boring and pointless.

This movie was good from start to finish. You sure see another side of Kevin Costner you haven't seen before. He is so believable MEAN all thru this movie. Kurt Russell & Courtney Cox Arquette round out the movie to give it my 5 star rating. It is one that you will want to buy and watch over & over. Elvis is not the theme - they only dress in his suits - but you will see when you RENT the movie. It's good.....

This movie, with a cast of "great" stars, was a disgrace to the memory of ELVIS!

I couldn't even get past the first ten minutes of the movie. I don't know if the movie picked up or not, but that was a wasted good ten minutes of my life. I want them back. It started off too slow. When a director has to start a film off with two stupid sex scenes and a boring and obnoxious setup of characters, I don't care whether the movie eventually gets good or not. Elvis theme or no elvis theme; great action or bad action. I was truly disappointed and unimpressed with the director and the acting of some actors who I have seen do tremendously better. It wasn't even worth watching.

This movie is great! You'll never expect whats about to happen from the beginning of the movie. great comedy and action! This was a big surprise. Do not let the cover fool you. You will wanna watch it with other people after you see the whole thing for yourself. Trust me on this review..
