Streetfighter Ryu is destined for a journey of self-discovery. Story was pretty good and by the fight scenes i was getting into it, but the dvd WAS SCRATCHED AT THE LAST FIGHT SCENE. I dont know if they fixed it yet or rent a new copy.

And though the stories in Street Fighter vary from director to Director I find that alpha is refreshing and adds a more modern style of animation. As for the story who wouldn't want know about the Dark Hadou that haunts Ryu or what may be the connection between him and Akuma. Definitely a great rental. P.S. The fight aren't ala DBZ but they are a lot more realistic.

All i can say when i first rented this movie was wow, this is a really good anime. The animation was really good and the story was well developed. The fight scenes could of been longer but from what there was it was still good. Only a true fan would appreciate this movie and not call it boring in the least. If your into street fighter rent this movie and the Street fighter Alpha generations movie when it comes out as it is a continuation of this movie.

This movie was just okay, not a total waste of time, but nothing to get excited about. If you are bored and have nothing else to do, then rent this movie. I recommend renting Street Fighter II-The Animated Movie instead because it has much better story and animation.

This is truly one of the best movies I have seen. The story line is gripping and surprisingly emotional, the fight scenes are a modern, realistic DBZ, and the animation is pretty good. Although I must say that Akuma's screentime and the final fight between Ryu and the mad scientist were way too short, leaving me a little disappointed; however, the rest of the movie outshines these little hiccups. Street Fighter fans, as well as action flick and plot line lovers will enjoy and truly appreciate what this movie has to offer.

Ok, Capcom decided to made a movie about Street Fight Alpha series.... I was especting something at least really good, and what a watch was a ok or even a bad manga.... Rebt it but dont even think about buying it.

The only characters is those on the cover. No/Short storyline to the film. Short fight scenes without is dark fireball he would be dead. Just a overall disappoinment. To a long time street fighter fan.
