I love this movie!!! Ving Rhames is very believable as a drag queen, but its not to out there if you know what I mean. Alfre Woodard is a crack head like none Ive ever seen! This movie tugs at your heart strings towards the end. No matter how many times Ive seen it I still cry. Awesome movie with a good ending!

No one would ever believe that Ving Rhames could play the part of a homosexual as ripped as he is, but he pulls it off very well. Very excellent story - good acting!

This is an unexpected gem. Rhames has an unbelievable range as an actor. This dude can go from drag queen to O.G. Thug ( see Animal) without skipping a beat and do it well. Woodard is an overlooked american treasure that can make you feel whatever character she plays and pull this off accordingly. Loved this heart felt drama...watch out for the tears yall.

Ving really stretches his creative and artistic skills in this one. To see the big strong ving dressed as a drag queen and to be gay in this one is the beginning of the fun. However, the story line is just as awesome with Alfre Woodard turning in another fine performance. It is a touching movie that is sure to please anyone wanting to experience a real movie and not hollywood hype.
