This is a very underrated movie... Great cast and I think one of the best dark comedies around. Michelle Pfeiffer and Jeff Goldblum are at there best. Was this review helpful? Yes

I just re-watched this movie, and remember why I liked it. Jeff Goldblum is at his confused best, as a midlife crisis engineer reeling from learning his life is falling apart, and getting swept up in a chain of events. I relate it the movie now that I am at that age, and experienced one of those âmomentsâ in my own life. I love all the cameos and liked the twists and turns. Very entertaining, if not totally âfilm noirâ. Was this review helpful? Yes

It's hard to believe this dullard comes from John Landis of Animal House and Blues Brothers genius. It's flat, the two stars have no chemistry, and the thing just bumps along until its merciful end. Dark comedy? Not even close. Was this review helpful? Yes

This is one of my favorite Jeff Goldblum films. Good story line, good 80's movie. Was this review helpful? Yes

Well, I'd have loved to be able to write a review of the movie, but the disk was so worn and tired that it wouldn't play, and then when it did is was choppy and ultimately failed altogether. I like Jeff Goldblum movies, and I'm sure I'd like this one -- if only I could see it! Was this review helpful? Yes

Aerospace engineer plagued by insomnia discovers wife is unfaithful, searches for diversion, and is thrown into a world of international intrigue - packaged in an 80's time capsule of attire, synth-saturated music score, and young Goldblum/Pfeiffer team. Into the Night exists in an alternate universe where everyone but the lead character sleeps around, steals, and murders with ease. Stylish, and yet morally ambivilant; in other words, standard Hollywood fare. Was this review helpful? Yes

The movie was scratched I could only watch half of it. That was really disappointing. I would love to watch the entire movie but the scratch stopped that from happening. I know this is a mailing system and anything could happen but please next time check the DVD before sending it out.
Thank you,

An older but fun movie; in fact, a lot more entertaining than most of the garbage Hollywood puts out these days. The movie starts out simple and then takes you on an adventure. Was this review helpful? Yes

Goldblum and Pfeiffer shine as the unlikely pair on the run from just about everyone as they try to just get out of the mess she got herself in when she agreed to smuggle some emeralds into the country. An alarmingly large number of people around these two lose their lives just because they have some innocent association with them. One sweet bonus comes fairly early in the movie when we get a nice look at the glorious bare breasts of Sue Bowser! The plot, with all of its twists and turns, does not fail to deliver. There are some nagging questions which cannot help but be in the mind of the viewer...such as...isn't Goldblum missed by his wife and his employer? After all, he disappears from his ordinary life for a couple of days...so...isn't anyone looking for him? But if you dismiss this little bit of incongruity, you will very likely enjoy the story. This is definitely a movie to watch. Was this review helpful? Yes
