Execellent presentation although it is a little slow to get up to speed with the story, However the end makes this a movie that is worth watching at any time of year for it is moving and riveting and heart clutching. All in All a great film.

This is an absolutely touching movie perfectly suited for family viewing. I love Mickey Rooney in roles as a more mature actor. The story line is Christmas and family centered in such a great way. When I can, I will purchase this so that I own it for next Christmas.

Good movie, great story, inspirational for all of us as we consider our duty to others. If it weren't for the grace of God many of us might be in the same situation. Mickey Rooney always went in love in this story, I liked that too. The only thing I didn't like was the little girl talking to a stranger on a bench in the park. I would have put an adult figure with her in those scenes... or at least a policeman...maybe a teacher walking with the kids heading home...or how about a grandma ? Family show that could invoke lots of discussion once watched and that to me is a good movie.

I found this to be one of the better made for TV movies that I've seen. Although it used the standard TV holiday movie formula, it had a number of pleasant surprises. Mickey Rooney was great, as usual. It was nice to see that the work-aholic dad was not the typical cartoon character nor was mom the perfect person. It was a sweet movie, but it won't cause cavities.
