The Breaks (1999) Reviews

The Breaks (1999)
Member Rating:
In this hip-hop oriented comedy, Mitch Mullany plays a guy living in Oakland, California, who's having a really bad day. Of course, the fact that he's one of the only White people living in his neighborhood doesn't help -- especially since he goes out of his way to "act Black." The Breaks features cameo appearances from NBA star Gary Payton and legendary funkmaster George Clinton. ~ Mark Deming, Rovi

R.I.P. Mitch Mullany This was a pretty good movie. Not as funny as Friday, but will keep you laughing. Between Little Gay Urkel, Chris being Cursed, and Derek meets the 2 dollar Who&*s you won't stop laughing

Another member said this movie is like "Friday" and I agree, but a low-budget version. The jokes are sometimes simple but it's totally original and worth watching. It's got the actor who played Cole in Martin! Haha!

If you like inside jokes with your friends about movies you've all seen then go for it. It's the guy that was on Nick Freeno and this movie was Way better than the BS that Jamie Kennedy came out with. I'm even gonna say the name of that whack @$$ movie.

This movie is actually pretty funny. Like a Friday but probablly not as funny. If you had a bootleg white version of Friday you would get this movie! If you didn't like Friday or movies like it dont watch this movie.
