I would have enjoyed it more if they showed the Bluegrass Boys playing whole songs instead of mixing an over-abundance of interview material with one-minute clips of the band playing. It looks like the writer was trying to please the MTV crowd. Half of the interviews should have been saved for the "outtakes" anyway.

I really enjoyed the movie. I thought it brought out the history of Monroe and showed what influences that contributed to his music and the many people that where influenced by him. It also show his mastery of the mandilon and his ear for music.

good music- enjoyed old clips- too bad they left out a lot of the flavor of what is was like to work for Monroe- Many of the greats playing today played for Monroe-
