In this family comedy, a successful man with nostalgia for his days as a soccer player, attempts to adopt an orphan so he can teach him all about his favorite sport. But soon after bringing the lad home, the new father is disappointed to discover that the lad is not interested in playing soccer. Not a bad movie but I have seen better. Never did figure out what the dog catcher had to do with the story.

Our 7 year old son really enjoyed this movie, but our teen left after 5 minutes, and the adults found it very poor. The dog's "stunts" were computer instered and not done well. Bad sportsmenship was demonstrated throughout the movie without so much as to a mention as that not being appropriate. The story was sweet, and the movie could have been much better.
