Norman Jewison's blackly satirical look at the American justice system has gained in stature as one of the more incisive social commentaries of its time. Al Pacino plays Arthur Kirkland, an incorruptible attorney who attempts to initiate reforms in the Maryland justice system. Kirkland is haunted by the fates of two past clients, one of whom committed suicide in jail; the other is still alive but is locked up on a trumped-up traffic violation. The ability of power and money to distort the pursuit of justice becomes all too clear as Kirkland finds out how deeply the rot has spread. He finally retaliates by representing a repulsive judge (John Forsythe) accused of rape. Pacino's and Forsythe's performances are intense and powerful. Many critics found the film biting and almost painful in its razor-sharp indictment of the justice system, while others declared the script too outrageous. ~ Don Kaye, Rovi

A very accurate portrayal of the judicial system! Over 20 years old and still accurate! Very entertaining. Al Pacino is phenominal in this role. Very funny in several scenes. A must see!

Great movie and outstanding acting. The scenes around Baltimore, MD were an added bonus, especially if you are familiar with the area.

And Justice For All is an excellent movie that is timeless and has a well written script. Al Pacino gives a wonderful performance as an ethical defense attorney. This is the best court room drama movie I have seen.

Early Pacino flick is worth a view. Wait till you see the scene in the bathroom when they tell him....I dont want to give it away but in my opinion this scene is one of the funniest I have ever witnessed.

Great movie with alot of emotion and presents a very ethical dilemmia. The only problem was it was a bit primitive. Just imagine if that movie was done today with all the great sound and effects, It would be amazing

Wow, finally I found out where the funniest movie quote of history came from "They raped me a whole bunch of times!" "Why they beat u up?" "I didn't ask" OMG I laughed until I cried. Oh and the rest of the movie was good too, Al Pacino is always an emotional and believeable actor. Lawyer with a conscience has also been done by Judd Nelson in From the Hip which is even better than this movie. Check it out
