Peter Berg made his directorial debut with this black comedy about suburbanite Kyle Fisher (Jon Favreau), his future bride Laura (Cameron Diaz) and his four pals -- brothers Adam (Daniel Stern) and Michael (Jeremy Piven), mechanic Charles (Leland Orser), and real estate agent Robert (Christian Slater). Kyle and gang head off to a stag-party fling in Vegas. The fun features hired stripper Tina (Carla Scott), killed accidentally during a bathroom make-out session with Michael. When a hotel security man investigates, Robert kills him. The group buries the bodies in the desert and head home. Back in L.A., guilt trips surface along with bouts of paranoia, Laura intends that nothing stand in the way of her wedding plans. Shown at the 1998 Toronto Film Festival and the 1998 San Sebastian Film Festival. ~ Bhob Stewart, Rovi
This is the kind of movie that you will either love or hate. I laughed all through the movie, but when I tell this to people they tend to look at me like I'm a psychopath. But that's not important. If you like dark comedies, you ought to see this. If you don't, go watch "Sweet Home Alabama" or something.
OK the review by a very seriouse person totaly describes this movie as the worst ever made. it's not true , as with any ganra, Dark Humor is not for every one.
If it is your ganra, WATCH IT!!!!
My husband wanted to rent this, I had never seen it. Rare for me! The title is exactly what this movie is - anything that is just wrong to do, these guys do!!! It's a VERY dark comedy, but worth seeing if you're in a twisted mood. What guys do to cover each others' backs is protrayed to the extreme in this great film.
The acting and filming are both excellent!
If u appreciate dark humor u will like this little gem. Not for the squeamish. I could have done without alll the bad language. That aside enjoy the crazy ride.
