Read More One of the best and funniest movies ever made about personal injury lawsuit attorneys, the Fortune Cookie shows Walter Matthau in one of his best and sleaziest Billy Wilder roles ever. Jack Lemmon plays the strong supporting role, but this is Walter's tour-de-force one-man show, the only one of his being better, being Plaza Suite. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? It's long and feels like some parts really are unnecessary, but I still had quite a few laughs. This could never be remade (thankfully) because of the fact that its very easy to detect people that are lying about pains/injuries... at least they can't ruin this classic!
