Sixteen individuals who are mysteriously chosen to live in the Sunset Towers apartment building on the shore of Lake Michigan come together to hear the will of the self-made millionaire, Samuel W. Westing. The will takes the form of a puzzle, dividing the sixteen heirs into eight pairs, giving each pair a different set of clues, and challenging them to solve the mystery of who killed Sam Westing. As an incentive, each heir is given $10,000 to play the game. Whoever solves the mystery will inherit Sam Westing's 200 million dollar fortune, along with his place in society.

There is two movie's intitled Get A Clue! This one is based on the book "The Westing Game", it is different than the Lindsy Lohan one this was a great book and a fantastic movie. Others that may not like murder mystery's would not like this. It depends on what kind of Genre of movies you like.

My 12 and 10 year-old daughters enjoyed the movie, but it's important to note that the movie was not as described at this site. Lindsay Lohan does not appear in this movie, it is not a Disney movie, and the plot has nothing to do with a school newspaper or investigative reporter. This is a murder mystery with an optimistic twist at it's conclusion. The movie is from Ardustry Entertainment. From their website: Synopsis: Turtle Wesler's family just moved to a new neighborhood? right next to the haunted Westing Mansion. On a dare from her new friends, Turtle sneaks into the mansion only to find the scene of a crime. It's the biggest mystery in the city's history. With a handful of clues and house full of suspects, Turtle gathers the evidence with her brainy partner Chris to cash in on a $20 million dollar reward.
