A year after the monstrous success of 1996's neo-slasher flick Scream, director Wes Craven and screenwriter Kevin Williamson reunited for this follow-up. Since viewers last saw the characters, nosy newswoman Gale Weathers has written a sleazy best-selling book based on the events of the first film, a book that has been adapted into a Hollywood film called Stab, starring Tori Spelling as Sydney Prescott. The real Sydney (Neve Campbell) has since gone away to college in Cincinnati in hopes of leaving the horrific events of her past behind her. Unfortunately, at a showing of Stab, two college students are murdered in a fashion that is reminiscent of the slayings that took place back in Woodsboro. Suddenly, Sydney, her pal Randy (Jamie Kennedy), and dopy deputy Dewey (David Arquette) find themselves once again pursued by a ruthless masked killer. Among the other potential killers and victims are Sarah Michelle Gellar, Laurie Metcalf, and Liev Schreiber. ~ Matthew Tobey, Rovi

Blood: 3 1/2 Cheese Factor: 3 1/2 Acting: 4 Overall: 4 1/2 Not as good as the original, but a worthy legendary sequel that must be seen! If you enjoyed the first than your almost guarenteed to enjoy this one. Courtney Cox once again comands the attention whenever she graces the screen! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED also I'll have everyone one know there is NO nudity what so ever in any of the three 'Scream' films.

The Scream Trilogy rocks. Even watching it over 10 years later it still packs the same punch. Witty, gory, funny, and entertaining. Looking forward to Scream 4.

A strong sequel brings back the same feel to the original and might be a little better. The killer again is very hard to guess and connects perfectly to the first one. I recommend watching these two movies back-to-back if you have the patience to do that.

It has Neve, Buffy, Monica and the Noxzema chick in it. Directed by Wes himself. It's part of a horror trilogy - "That's right, it's a rarity in the horror field but it does exist, and it is a force to be reckoned with." You should rent all of the Screams now, so you are well prepped when 4 rolls out next year!

I still watch the Scream Movies and see the Scary Movie 1 set up. This was just about as good as the first one. The only reason why I say that is because there is no real story change in this one. Yeah of course there is a new killer, but the story line is basically the same. I still recommend this film if you are into the scary/suspenseful movies out there.

Ok-The first one was clever. But this sequel is terrible. Courtney Cox is back as Gale Weathers and so are all the idiots that survived Part 1. Don't waste your time. The highlight is seeing Sarah Gellar ('TV;s Buffy) get killed off. Why couldn't they have done that to her TV show? No nudity in any of these films.

this movie is okay because there is cool stuff on it. But the reason i rated it two stars was because on all three of them the 1st girl to get killed always runs up stairs instead of out the door when she's right in front of it, its really stupid of them but i dont blame them i blame the Directors

One of the worst horror movies of all time. All 3 scream movies really really really really really suck.. Like i've said before, only reason people like this movie and it's sequels is cause of the half nake bimbos running around trying to get away from the slasher. Dont watch, rent, or buy this movie.
