Presented by Britain's Central Television, the four-part miniseries The Guilty may or may not have been inspired by a true story. Michael Kitchen, often cast in enigmatic roles, headed the cast as Steven Vey, a prominent barrister. Vey's already troubled personal and professional life began to unravel and ultimately fall apart at the seams when he was accused of rape. The Guilty originally aired in 1992. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi
This is an excellent movie/mini series. It is as unpredictable and engaging as any Grisham movie. The surprise ending is so rich [ perhaps a bit tart, but then, that's the character of the thing].
Really enjoyed first part of this series.Looking forward to seeing the rest of it! Michael Kitchen makes a really good villain, which is a change ....I'm used to seeing him as a convincing hero.
There was only (1) Episode on the DVD....the envelope stated this was a four-part British mini-series. We have not seen the second disc yet. Overall, the episode was good, but hardly ground-breaking.
