In this madcap comedy, Geena Davis plays Valerie, a manicurist living in the valley with her cold fiancé, Dr. Ted Gallagher (Charles Rocket). At the Curl Up and Dye beauty salon where she works, Valerie enlists the help of her boss, Candy Pink (Julie Brown), for some style advice to try and win back Ted's affections. After undergoing a brand-new hairstyle, Valerie learns that Ted is having an affair and she kicks him out of the house. Soon, while lounging around in her bikini, a spaceship from the planet Jhazzalan crash-lands in her swimming pool. Curious, Valerie befriends the ship's inhabitants -- three horny aliens covered in fur named Mac (Jeff Goldblum), Whiploc (Jim Carrey), and Zeebo (Damon Wayans). Introducing her new friends to Candy, the aliens get a shave and a total makeover transformation into hot, available dates. They all go out dancing at L.A. nightclubs and party. ~ Andrea LeVasseur, Rovi

A cast that can't be beat delivers the goods in this send-up of musical comedies. The cinematography is eye-popping, and darn-near a cast member itself. Julie Brown's lyrics for the musical numbers are flat-out gut-busting; a mix of silly and sublime. "Cause I'm a blond" must be the funniest musical number ever put to film. Put your brain completely on hold and enjoy this romp!

The movie that delivers more giggles than laughing gas. Here we have Jim Carey in one of his earlier, yet still one of his best roles. The other cast was fantastic also. Mash fans will remember Larry Linville. There are loads of otherworldly humor throughout. Although this one is not for those who demand realism, or seriousness, if you like a good rolling in the isle funny movie, then you must rent this movie(or own it like I do)

This is a very 80s movie, which makes it very funny. Very weird and quirky. Don't watch this if you're looking for something deep, but if you want something fun and light, this is the movie for you.

Earth Girls are Easy was funny 20 years later. Teenagers were equally entertained so it has shown the test of time for universal comedy. It was great to see Jim Carry, Damon Wyans, Jeff Goldblum and Geena Davis from 1989. Highly recommend renting this for great laughs. Very silly humor.

Geena Davis, Jeff Goldblum, Jim Carrey and Damon Wayans in what might have been the big screen debut for all of them...........a great movie for anyone convinced that LA is already in another universe.

While Jeff Goldblum was HOT (as usual) as always, and it WAS interesting seeing Carey in one of his earlier roles, I'm so glad I never bought this, only rented. DT Julie Brown....a former MTV VJ....again, interesting seeing her in a movie role, as a stylish even (how cheeky). But Davis (VALERIE) - this is the worst role I've seen her play. Most of the songs were cheesy, and I was not impressed with Wayans role. He's done MUCH better. Again, Goldblum was hot ;)))

This movie has a great cast, but it was terribly made. If you want to waste one and half hours of your life, then check this movie out.......
