Dot and the Whale (1986)

Dot and the Whale (1986)
Member Rating:
This is the sixth in a long series of successful "Dot" animated features, stories told by combining animation (Dot and friends) with live footage. In this story, Dot is out to save the whales, or at least a certain whale in particular. While playing along the beach one day, Dot and a dolphin friend come across a very unhappy whale named Tonga. Tonga has washed up ashore and is in mortal danger from the cruel whale-hunters, not to mention a greedy owner of a fish shop. Something has to be done to save Tonga, and as usual, Dot has a few ideas about how to do just that. ~ Eleanor Mannikka, Rovi
