Dot and Keeto (1986)

Dot and Keeto (1986)
In an entertaining and educational foray through the world of itty-bitty bugs, director Yoram Gross has succeeded again in his fifth "Dot" children's film. Once more, his skillful combination of animated figures and scenes from the real world are quite effective. This time Dot is accidentally reduced to the size of a small, teeny critter who has to fend for herself outside the house, as wasps, spiders, ants, beetles, and other denizens of the groundcover loom like the enormous predators they are. Dot is befriended by Keeto the Mosquito who talks like he walks with rhythm and.. well, rhyme. Butterwalk the Caterpillar is also of help, and between the two of them, Dot just might have a chance of regaining her normal little human stature. ~ Eleanor Mannikka, Rovi
