This ballet was beautiful and extremely athletic. The theater mixed with the choreography and the quality of dancers put this ballet over the top. Baryshnikov shows off his proudness of his art from the gait of his walk to his charicature of the actor he portrays. His own high standards are met in his other dancers. Not to mention that watching this like you're in the front row is entirely captivating, a seat I have yet to know first hand. It's certainly not for the Cervantes lover who expects the ballet to match the book. But it is worthy of praise in kind. Great applause to the magic of this one!!
