This movie was okay. Very urban, the characters seemed shallow. However, the casting of young Leisha Hailey (The L Word) pushed me to three stars.

This movie wasn't what I thought that it would be. I figured it would be a movie of a girl coming to terms with her choice of lifestyle and losing a friend to another guy. But the story line didn't make sense to me and it wasn't very captivating. They just kept jumping around to different scenes and making the main actress look like a dog begging for a bone. I wouldn't watch this movie again and I definitely wouldn't refer it to any friends.

I really enjoyed this movie and it was one that had me thinking about it days afterward. The soundtrack is fantastic with various female fronted bands from the late 90's throughout and the acting is superb and unaffected. The movie is more about choosing the correct path for ourselves and making other healthy choices than it being a gay romance.
