Richard Linklater's third feature -- set, like his other works, over the course of one 24-hour period -- Before Sunrise is a sweet, intelligent romantic comedy filmed primarily in Austria. It stars Ethan Hawke as Jesse, a young American travelling through Europe. On a train he meets Celine, a French student portrayed by Julie Delpy. Together they leave the train to begin exploring the city of Vienna, walking and talking into the wee hours of the night and slowly falling in love as the minutes before Jesse's return to the U.S. tick away. ~ Jason Ankeny, Rovi

This is a wonderful love story. Awesome dialogue. Love stories don't usually do it for me, being a single loser and all. But this movie stuck a chord with me. Just fantastic performances. I highly recommend to couples and single losers.

Talk, talk, talk, talk. Loquatio instead of ... These two needed to get a room before sunrise - and SHE makes that clear. A woman's movie that should've been better, maybe if more like "A Good Year" with an intelligent gal like M. Cotillard. A woman's movie, too, because this guy is signaling that he is not philosophically tuned, a difference that will lead to disaster that women seem not to realize, something HE points out. Good grief. And this review from someone who's way beyond Tom Green - and who never liked him as entertainment anyway, Hitendra. Intelligence is an attraction. Here we don't see much of that from either of them. Still, Julie Delpy is a feast for male eyes and imaginations, imaginations revealed in other of her films.

Perfectly paced Romance/Comedy drama set in with Vienna as a backdrop. The acting by the both Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy was superior,. Movie had a great story line and was well written. Selected on a lark but totally satisfied with the movie. The beautiful backdrop of Vienna and could have benefited a blu ray version. Everything came together to create a movie justified with it's IMDB rating of 8.
