Though provisionally a story about the Irish/British conflict after World War One, the figures had little depth of character, were quirky in the extreme, unrealistic, and dislikable, and the most sympathetic one, the protagonist, also seemed a priggish fool.

This movie is just not put together well. It does not flow, and hard to follow. I could not get past the first 15 to 20 minutes. Disc #2 of 2 is coming off of my queue.
