Why Blockbuster doesn't have the first movie in this series is beyond me, but at least there is one to enjoy. This is a very silly, cheesey movie full of cliched characters, actions, and situations but that's why I loved the movie. The whole thing is so ridiculous but engaging. It's entertaining and good for a few laughs. My favorite thing about this movie is the noise the girls's arms make when preparing to throw their yo-yos. A perfect movie to watch with a group of cool friends who just want to be entertained for awhile.

I was totally blown away after watching this movie. I saw the reboot of this series called 'Yo Yo Girl Cop' back in 2000 and I was surprised to learn that there were actually prequels from back in the 80s of Sukeban Deka. So when I saw this, I gave it a shot: it was better than the reboot. The music, the costumes, the action...there's even a diary from Yui about her filming the movie. I would gladly rent this again and if they have the other prequels, I'd watch them too!
