    One of the biggest cast of cameos ever, and they are all wasted. Didn't ANY of them read the script first? Dated, unfunny,and even cruel. What were they thinking? And, despite it being filmed in not-so-long ago 1976, Bruce Dern, Teri Garr,and maybe one or two others are the only ones in the huge cast that are still alive. This dog bites. Woof.

    This movie isn't one of the all-time greats, but it's passable. Kahn does a very nice job in her innocent sweet role and Carney adds to the movie's substance, as small as that substance might be. Seeing a quite young Teri Garr was fun, too. The dog is good as a Rin Tin Tin copy. The best part of the flick is just watching the various cameo roles of past Hollywood stars coming in and out. Just to catch a 1976 glimpse of Alice Faye alone makes this movie worth seeing, I think. I'm glad someone decided to make a DVD of it. I'm just sorry the DVD had no special features.
