Farrell MacDonald finds retirement difficult and is only too happy to oblige when daughter Joan (Polly Ann Young) and her insurance agent boyfriend Frank Rogers (Warren Hull) suggest that he look into the death of old colleague Burt Stafford (Joel Friedkin).
