Very dated murder mystery with little action. The film was obviously made on a tight budget and has not held up well through the years. The sound on the DVD is quite bad. Performances range from weak (the hero) to good (the baddie and the heroine). There is also some unwelcome comedy courtesy of the heroine's friend and the police inspector. The convoluted mystery reaches a weak conclusion.

Another title for ths movie is THE DOOR WITH 7 LOCKS or something like that! It really is a murder mystery instead of a horror film. Shadows and fog are used to great effect. I found the audio to be in very poor condition. To many fight scenes. But ok film to watch once. ~ Susan L.
