Inspired by "The Carnal Prayer Mat," an ancient Chinese text comparable to the Kama Sutra, this stereoscopic reboot of the popular 1990s-era erotic comedy series follows libidinous Ming Dynasty scholar Yangsheng (Hiro Hayama) as he seeks to gain the stamina needed to satisfy his beautiful new bride,Yuxiang (Leni Lan). Upon realizing he lacks the sexual fortitude to have a healthy sex life with Yuxiang, Yangsheng pays a visit to Mephistophelian Prince of Ning (Tony Ho), the proprietor of the Pavilion of Ultimate Bliss.
