Not very realistic, slow at times, but the fight scenes really make up for all the short commings. Some of the details of the movie are questionable, like Bruce's sifu in Hong Kong, the great Ip Man, you would think a chinese production could find an actor that looked like Ip in all of China, but instead, you have a bearded Ip. Still the movie is worth a watch, but make sure you have a lot of time, it is 3 hours long. I would have given it a 5 stars if they followed Bruce's life more realistically. Recommended.
The dubbing is bad. The quality of English in the subtitles is bad. The dialog is stilted and awkward at best. The actors are wooden. The actor playing Bruce Lee is lacking in charisma (a real disadvantage when playing Bruce Lee). The fight scenes, however, are fairly good, and the cinematographic has its moments. If your expectations are low, and you hold it to the standards of a chop socky flick not a feature film, it's watchable.
Confusing for a story about Bruce Lee that I admired since I was born to say the least. Some of the things they had in this movie/Series did make sense and some of the thing's just didn't make any sense. And this guy that played Bruce Lee doesn't even look close to what Lee looked like. The fighting scene's was cool! Not a bad story but they should've had a better translation for us! The dialog was also so cheesy. =(
