This movie was actually based on true events that happen in the US a couple of years ago! It is actually a very good movie, with a good strong message for young ladies that want to get pregnant. Rent it you'll like it!

Though it reminds me of a LIFETIME Network type of Melodrama, "THE PREGNANCY PACT" handily presents multiple perspectives, and diverse aspects involving a random High School in a random town suddenly overcome with attention on semi-mass Teen pregnacies, and the overwhelming effects of the Press/Media. While the main theme surrounds the girls involved, the plot encompasses the collateral effects on the lives of others outside of the immediate families. Well worth watching... GBJ

I usually stay away from renting Lifetime movies. I did not know this was one until about half way through it. But, it's actually very well done. There are 2 very opposing sides in this movie about allowing public school nurses to provide condoms to students to deter teen pregnancy. It's conservatives Vs. Liberals and at times gets very heated. There was discussion in our household after we watched it. Every parent with teenagers should watch this with their kids. It is a subject that should not be ignored. The fact that it is based on true events from 2008 helps give the subject matter credibility. Regardless of which side you are on this movie succeeds in establishing the fact that teenagers are walking hormones who are going to engage in sexual activity regardless of what their parents have taught them so either the parent wants them to be safe or not. This movie is a great icebreaker to open a family discussion.
