In fairness, I didn't finish watching this movie. There was just too much contrivance in the story, too much acting from Dreyfuss, too much attitude from Wisdom, and way, way too much musical score to tell us how we're supposed to react to every moment. While I didn't check, I'm sure this is a filmed version of a play, and a play I might even enjoy in summer stock, but as a film, it is much too precious.
