Fright Night is a remake. The original one from 1985 was a great horror film. I remember watching the original for the first time when i was about 10 years old and I thought it was good. It made me scared. Now the remake is actually not too bad of a film. People always enjoy seeing remakes to compare the 2 and they always think the original is better. However I think Fright Night coems down pretty close. Around the same acting wise, not too great but not too bad either. The comedy was terrific in this one compared to the original but I found the original to be more demented and creepy than this one, All in all i found both films to be pretty close and both right on good films. Fright Night is worth a trip to the movies.

I think the effects were good and Colin did a great job but I was a little disappointed I was expecting more. I like the orginal better.

My husband and I thought it was a very good movie! Had action, suspense, a bit of horror and some parts were actually very funny. Great actors in it so I def recommend!
