This, and The Incredible Journey of Doctor Meg Laurel, are two Lindsay Wagner movies that are a must-see. After catching her husband in bed with one of his students, Jennie's husband buys her a beautiful historic house in the countryside. During renovations, she discovers an old dress in the attic, that just so happens to fit her. Minor repairs, and it's good as new. But once she puts it on, she is plunged into the past and caught up in the history of her new home. Now, going back and forth in time, Jennie must decide between both worlds. A shocking climax results as she makes her decision and the impact it makes on everyone involved.
