This was one of the most powerful movies I've seen about the horrors of war, without even a battle scene. Kevin Bacon's performance was exceptional and I was touched by the portrayals of all the cast members. I admit the tears flowed freely but because of the wonderful respect that was shown to the fallen Marine. As painful as it would be, I would hope that the families of other men and women who have lost their lives in defense of their coulntry could see this film. God Bless all who made this possible.

If ever a movie deserves 5 stars, this one is it. I am so glad the U.S. Military does such a reverent job of honoring its fallen troops. This film wrenches at your heart stings and all the actors do a masterful job of making you remember this film for a long, long time.
