Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla (1974)
Member Rating:
This time, the overgrown-lizard hero is confronted by a mechanical doppelganger, courtesy of an army of extraterrestrial apes. Unable to best his metallic twin in combat, Godzilla seeks out the aid of Okinawan monster god King Seeser. The film is peppered with moments of humor; so much happens in the final reel that one is disappointed not to see the kitchen sink. After the TV popularity of The Six Million Dollar Man and The Bionic Woman, Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla was rechristened Godzilla vs. the Bionic Monster. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi

Are you kidding me? This movie was awesome!! I loved it! Especially when King Caezar helped out Godzilla! Naturally, we watched it in Japanese with French subs and made our own dub, but we enjoyed it nuntheless! The two or three battle scenes were stunning and I loved the old school KAIJU big battles. I praise Takahisa's review and any godzilla fan would love this film. Pay no heed to teh yi H. he should be tied to a tree while spectators through rubber chikens at him!!!

Not like new Godzilla series, he is human side monster but this is what many Japanese kids loved in old time. The story is interesting and Mechagodzilla is so cool. This is one of the best Godzilla movie to me.
